The Embassy of Israel to Thailand and MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation, have cooperated with the Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University, in terms of support, development and solving the problem of limited clean water for household utilization and water for agricultural activities in the northeastern area of Thailand. Also, there was an MOU between the Government of the State of Israel and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand signed in 2002. After that, there was the Thai–Israel Techno-Demonstration unit for irrigating high-value crops on our campus as well as the agricultural demonstration farm to experiment with water management until today.

This event was a good opportunity to expand on the collaboration between the Embassy of Israel to Thailand and Khon Kaen University by establishing the hybrid Greenhouse, and using the technology from Israel, including hydroponics, to support academic learning and teaching at the Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University, and to serve as a demonstration unit for farmers from this region.
