On 26 November 2020, Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC) together with the Thailand International College Consortium (TICC), which includes (1) the Faculty of International Studies, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, (2) Prince of Songkla University International College, Hatyai Campus, (3) Burapha University International College, and (4) Naresuan University International College, organized “The 5th TICC International Conference 2020: Multidisciplinary Research Towards a Sustainable Society” during 26th – 27th November 2020 at Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid Hotel.
At the opening ceremony, H.E. Mr. Joseph Anthony Cotter, the Ambassador of Ireland to Thailand, and Associate Professor Chanchai Panthongwiriyakul, the President of Khon Kaen University, presided over and delivered a welcome speech to the audience. On this occasion, the Dean of the KKUIC, Professor La-orsri Sanoamuang, reported the objectives of this event, of which the aim was to provide a platform for academic staff and researchers to exchange knowledge of world issues on the five interdisciplinary topics of International Studies, Business and Management, Tourism and Hospitality, Media and Communications, and Sciences and Technology.
It was a great honor and opportunity to hear from the Ambassador of Ireland and the keynote speakers of several institutions who provided special lectures to participants and students regarding all the above mentioned topics.
