» KKU administrators discuss collaboration with Mitsubishi Company (Thailand) Ltd. to develop technological and innovative collaboration (1402 Views)

On December 17, 2020, Sirikunakorn 5, 6th floor, Sirikunokorn building, KKU administrators led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati Charoen, Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Thidarut Boonmars, Vice President for Innovation and Enterprise, Asst. Prof. Denpong Soodphakdee, Vice President for Digital, Assoc. Prof. Orathai Piayura, Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Dr. Arunee Sriruksa, Director of ASEAN Languages Center together with lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Sciences, discussed with Mr. Ogiwara Shoichi, President of Mitsubishi Company (Thailand) Ltd., and delegation. This meeting aimed to discuss academic, teaching and learning development, technological, and innovation collaboration for “Solar Power Solar Rooftop” in order to develop sustainable energy in the future.  

Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, said “I am very honored to welcome the delegation of Mitsubishi Company (Thailand) Ltd. Khon Kaen University is a center of academic and research excellence that collaborates with leading universities across the world for student and staff exchanges, especially with Japanese institutions such as  Fujimoto Foundation, Japan International Cooperation Foundation (JICF), SMBC Global Foundation Scholarship Program, and Japanese Chamber of Commerce (JCC). Besides, there are over 90 memoranda of understanding (MOU) with leading Japanese institutes. Also, KKU supports various innovations such as the Lithium-ion Battery Factory, KKU, to be a prototype for sustainable energy. Therefore, this is a good opportunity to continue further collaboration between our two organizations”.
