Since 2013, Thailand has used the One Health concept in its national strategic plan for dealing with emerging infectious diseases. The One Health concept goal is to strengthen multi-level and multidisciplinary collaborations among all sectors, leading to a holistic health approach based on the critical relationships between the health of humans, animals, and the environment. Collaborating across all sectors at multiple levels makes it easier to control disease transmission.
