On Friday 19 December 2021 at 17.00 hrs. at the Marguerite Flower Farm, at the southern area of the Agricultural Technology Park, KKU. Assoc. Prof. Chanchai Phanthongwiriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, presided over the opening ceremony of the Marguerite Flower Farm together with his wife Dr. Aunejit Phanthongwiriyakun. Prof. Dr. Monchai Duangchinda, Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, delivered a welcome speech. Other attendants of the opening ceremony included Mr. Narawit Jaturat, a 2nd year student majoring in Innovative Agriculture at the Faculty of Agriculture, together with KKU administrators, staff, students and those who are interested in visiting the Marguerite Flower field.

Marguerite Flower field is a smart agricultural flower field system of Khon Kaen University, operated under the name "KKU Smart Flower Farm". The Marguerite Flower field is an interesting project that comprises a photo spot at the check-in location of the Margaret flower field and the sunflower field. It also includes learning about Smart Farm water system, activities and folk song performances by KKU students at the garden and Sales of Agricultural products by students of the KKU Faculty of Agriculture. The entrance fee is 20 baht. Students of the Faculty of Agriculture have free entrance. The revenue from the entrance fee will contribute to the dream (future plan) of students of the Faculty of Agriculture who wish to study abroad. There is a car park area near the garden. The garden is open for visitors from February 19 - July 7, 2021, from 7:30 am until sunset.
