On June 4, 2021, the International Affairs Division (IAD) from Khon Kaen University held a virtual online orientation meeting for foreign students at KKU for the 1st semester of the Academic year 2021. The meeting was participated by staff and international relations officers from the International Affairs Division, as well as foreign affairs workers from various faculties and including international students. The event was opened and welcomed by a very warm message from the president of Khon Kaen University, Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D. and Vice President for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati Charoen.
More than 100 people from many countries participated in this event. The activity aimed to provide opportunities for foreign students at Khon Kaen University, to exchange knowledge and to meet and discuss with students from various nations. It also provided information about useful services for international students from various departments in Khon Kaen University, such as the International Affairs Division, the Graduate School, the Office of Academic Administration & Development and the Library. The format of the orientation activity was to listen to lectures, and to provide information from speakers on various interesting topics that will benefit international students in continuing their study and living at Khon Kaen University.
