On November 8, 2021, at 15.30-16.30 hrs. at 15.30-16.30 hrs. International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University held a virtual MOU signing ceremony between Khon Kaen University (KKU) and Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities (YMUN), the People's Republic of China led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University and Prof. Dr.Jinguang Yao, President of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities, the People's Republic of China who signed an MOU. Also, there were KKU and YMUN administrators. The faculties administrators such as Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Public Health, and Faculty of Engineering attended as the witness through Zoom meeting at Sirikunalorn 5, 6th floor, Sirikunakorn building, Khon Kaen University.

The essential topics of MOU are staff, undergraduate, and graduate student exchange, including staff capacity building, academic progress, exchanging knowledge in lectures and seminars, and research papers and academic information. Also, this MOU will be valid for five years.
