Ms. Pitchayakarn Takomthong, Ph.D. student of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Khon Kaen University is one of 2 Ph.D. Students in the country to receive a 2022 FULBRIGHT JUNIOR RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (JRS) from the Thai-American Educational Foundation Fulbright Thailand to study and conduct research at doctoral degree level in the United States.

Ms. Pitchayakarn Takomthong, Ph.D. Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences student, Khon Kaen University, said, “ I feel very honored to have received the scholarship under the 2022 Fulbright Junior Research Scholarship Program (JRS) from Fulbright. This scholarship is very meaningful and allows me to pursue my dream and improve my knowledge and research skills. It is also the opportunity to expand my research cooperation base with foreign networks. It will help promote and upgrade research to an international level. I am deeply grateful to my advisor Asst. Prof. Dr. Chantana Booyarat and supervisors for the continuous support of my Ph.D. study and research. Additionally, I also thank my family and friends for their love and enduring support of me.

FULBRIGHT JUNIOR RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (JRS) is a dissertation research scholarship at a higher education institution in the United States. The objective is to support education and research in the United States for Ph.D. students in higher education institutions in Thailand, build professional networks and exchange knowledge with American professors and researchers. 

The International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University (IAD, KKU), as a center of information and public relations for scholarships abroad, as well as supporting international activities, would like to congratulate Ms. Pitchayakarn Takomthong, a Ph.D. student from Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Khon Kaen University, for this achievement and her contribution to the reputation of Khon Kaen University.
