The Outstanding Study UK Alumni Awards 2021–2022 aims to celebrate and introduce the success stories of UK alumni from around the world. They are all leaders in their fields and use their experiences at UK higher education institutions to benefit the community. This is the eighth year in which the British Council has presented this prestigious award. This year, it has been divided into four categories: 1) Science and Sustainability Award 2) Culture and Creativity Award 3) Social Action Award, and 4) Business and Innovation Award.
This year, Professor Dr. Jutharap Phetchaburan under the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine and the International Phenome Laboratory of Khon Kaen University, Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute Khon Kaen University, alumni of the University of London and Imperial College London, has been selected and reached the Finalist position for the Outstanding National Outstanding UK Alumni Award 2021-2022 in Science and Sustainability. Science and Sustainability is an award given to alumni who stand out in a career in science and sustainability. It also demonstrates the positive impact and success of work or activities in other related fields such as climate change response, clean energy, medicine, sustainable cities and communities, industrial engineering and construction. Interested parties can follow the success stories in various fields through the use of the skills, experience and knowledge gained from the UK of each Finalists and follow the awards ceremony to be hosted by the British Council Thailand in March 2022.
