On February 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., the Embassy of the United States of America, Bangkok, Thailand, together with the International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University, organized a special lecture on the topic “2022 Funding Opportunity”. This lecture was honored by Ms. Kanchalee (Kelly) Jitjang, Senior Cultural Specialist, Public Affairs Office, and a guest speaker, Ms. Jung Benyatip, Cultural Assistant, US Embassy Bangkok. This lecture was organized to provide helpful information about the project that strengthens US-Thai relations, cultural, socio-economic, and public health, promotes democratic values, human rights and environmental protection, and application preparation. In addition, it also introduced information on studying in the United States, various exchange programs, and guidelines for following up on the news of scholarship applications and others. The lecture was attended by lecturers, students and personnel in total more than 100 people through zoom meeting online.

The Embassy of the United States of America, Bangkok, Thailand has cooperation with Khon Kaen University in education, cultural activities, etc. Lectures have been given on studying in the United States of America (Education USA), “Daniel Ho and Kealiʻi Ceballos” concert, Hawaii Music 2020 and “The USAF Band of the Pacific-Asia Live in Khon Kaen University, 2019.
