» IAD, KKU cooperates with the International Student Association and holds a global perspective online activity IAD Corner Ep.5 "Global Oriented and Language Ability (633 Views)

On March 8, 2024, the International Affairs Division, Khon Kaen University (IAD, KKU), in cooperation with the Indonesian Student Association, KKU held a global perspective online activity, "Global Oriented and Language Ability," to support global perspective views and prepare knowledge, attitudes, and skills for global citizen society by an online Zoom program. At the event, the guest speaker was Mr. Syamsun Jaya, a master's degree student, Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University and moderated by Mr. Beddu Hafidz, Department of Community, Family, and Occupational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. At the activity, students exchanged knowledge and exciting perspectives such as the importance and understanding of global mindset, cross-cultural communication, foreign language skills, and strategies for developing foreign language skills to enhance global citizenship. The benefits of learning a second and third language, using technology to develop language skills, etc., and having game activities at the end session. During the program, there were students and many interested people who shared their opinions. Also, the atmosphere was friendly and warm.

The IAD Corner activity is organized to promote global competency and English language skills for Khon Kaen University students and staff through exchange, learning, experiences, studying, living, and work preparation with an international perspective. It will also create a collaboration network between Thai organizations and international students.
