» The Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Thailand visits KKU (1084 Views)

On October 21, 2021 at Sirikunakorn 5, 6th floor, Sirikunakorn building, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Abdul Hye, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Thailand and his delegates visited the administrators of Khon Kaen University led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, who delivered a welcome speech, together with Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati Charoen, Vice President for International Affairs,Assoc. Prof. Nawarat Wara-Aswapati Charoen, Vice President for International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, the Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Mr. Isara Suriyagul Na Ayudhaya, Head of International Affairs Division, lectures and the representatives from faculties welcomed the visit. In addition, this was his excellency's first visit, and during the meeting there was discussed cooperation in education, research and international courses as well as Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) and other cooperation in the future. 

Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University University said Khon Kaen University is the first university, established in the Northeastern region with various courses for learners as well as being the center of social thoughts. It is also located in the geographical area of ​​Indochina, which is connected to knowledge and conveyed many ideas. Moreover, KKU has ranked outstanding in 7 subjects by the Time Higher Education (THE).  However, from the situation of  Covid 19 pandemic, since 2020, KKU has prepared with many changes such as the development of a variety of teaching methods and that is a challenge and an opportunity to develop the education system. Therefore,  today is a good opportunity to exchange knowledge and cooperation with the Embassy.

H.E. Mr. Mohamed Abdul Hye, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Thailand, said “I am delighted and honored to have the opportunity to visit Khon Kaen University. This is my first visit. Thank you to all the administrators of Khon Kaen University for a warm welcome  and I sincerely hope that today's discussions can develop cooperation in various fields in the near future.
