ERC Synergy grants are open to a group of between two and four Principal Investigators (PIs) working together. Synergy grants aims to tackle truly bold scientific challenges through a unique combination of skills and knowledge of the PIs. The ERC's grants operate on a 'bottom-up' basis - applications can be made in any field of research.
