The Newton Fund Impact Scheme (NFIS)
NFIS is delivered by the British Council in partnership with UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), and on behalf of the Academy of Medical Sciences, the British Academy, the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) and the Royal Society. NFIS provides funding for current and previously funded Newton Fund grantees with the aim of maximising impact from previous Newton Fund activities. The collaboration between UK and partner countries can build upon the original partnership or form a new partnership. Grants will not be provided to support the continuation of existing activities. Applicants should make a strong case to demonstrate that proposals consist of new activities focusing primarily on impact realisation.
Call for Application: 20 April - 15 June 2020
Grant size: £100,000 - £200,000 per project
