On April 3, 2017, Asst. Prof. Dr. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Collaboration joined the SMBC Regional Review Committee Meeting 2017 to present the information of KKU students who applied for SMBC Global Foundation Scholarship Program, which was managed by an international institution. This scholarship gives importance to education which is the basic factor for the development of the student as a person and the nation. This scholarship also has no contract or commitment. This year, KKU students received 6 scholarships, and each scholarship is worth for 1,150 US Dollars.
