» KKU welcomes Director of Center for Research Cooperation in Educational Development, Japan (1669 Views)

On May 5, 2017, KKU administrators led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Maitree Inprasitha, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Daris Theerakulpisut, Assistant Dean for International Relations and Cooperation Strategies, the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Akkaranee Timinkul, lecturer from the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Ms. Netdao Chamroendararasmee, Acting Director of International Relations Division, and personnel warmly welcomed Professor Masami Isoda, Director of Center for Research Cooperation in Educational Development, University of Tsukuba, Japan. He visited KKU to be a keynote speaker in the 11th National Open Class event which will be held on May 6-7, 2017, at the Golden Jubilee Convention Hall.

In the meeting, the discussion focused on possibilities to have collaboration in the fields of medicine, education, agriculture, and sport sciences. Moreover, Professor Masami Isoda also expected to invite and give scholarships for high school students who are interested in studying about medicine or agriculture to attend a workshop in University of Tsukuba. The scholarships will give two students from Thailand and Vietnam each. He further mentioned that KKU is in the center of Mekong Sub-region and owns a big hospital which attracts students from University of Tsukuba to come to KKU to study and have exchange experiences.
