On July 26, 2017, Dr. Cynthia Maung , Director of Mea Tao Clinic, Myanmar and the delegations from Mea Tao Clinic visited Khon Kaen University. They were welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Denpong Soodphakdee, the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Communications and KKU administrators from the Faculty of Public Health, International College, Associated Medical Sciences. They visited KKU to expand academic collaborations between KKU and Mea Tao Clinic and to discuss about future academic collaboration and a possibility to sign the MOU regarding exchange of academic staff and students and a research collaboration.
