ในวันอังคารที่ 1 ธันวาคม 2558 รศ.ดร.กิตติชัย ไตรรัตนศิริชัย อธิการบดี และ รศ. ทพญ. ดร. นวรัตน์ วราอัศวปติ เจริญ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายการต่างประเทศพร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์ศิษย์เก่าทุนมูลนิธิฮิตาชิให้การต้อนรับและเลี้ยงรับรองอย่างอบอุ่นแก่คณะผู้บริหารทุนมูลนิธิฮิตาชิ นำโดย มร.คาซูยูกิ มิยานากะ กรรมการผู้จัดการ และ มร.มาสาอากิ คาวาโมโตะ ผู้บริหารทุนมูลนิธิฮิตาชิในโอกาสมาสัมภาษณ์ผู้สมัครทุน Hitachiและทุนวิจัย Hitachi Fellowship ที่มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นเพื่อไปศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาเอก และทำวิจัยระยะสั้น ที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น สำหรับปีการศึกษา 2559 โดยในปีนี้มีผู้สมัครทุนจำนวน 5 คน นับถึงปัจจุบันมีอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นได้รับทุนจากมูลนิธิฮิตาชิรวมทั้งสิ้นแล้ว 27 ท่านยิ่งช่วยเพิ่มความเข้มแข็งให้กับสมาคมศิษย์เก่าฮิตาชิ
Welcoming the Hitachi Scholarship Foundation Executives
On Tuesday, December 1, 2015 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittichai Triratanasirichai, the President and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nawarat Wara-aswapati Charoen, the Vice President for International Affairs, together with KKU Hitachi alumni, gave a warm welcome and arranged a dinner for visiting Hitachi Foundation executives led by Mr. Kazuyuki Miyanaga, Managing Director and Mr. Masaaki Kawamoto, Hitachi Foundation Executive. The executives were at Khon Kaen University to interview KKU candidates for Hitachi scholarships and Hitachi research fellowships in Japan for academic year 2016. This year, there were 5 KKU applicants in total. Up to date, there are over 27 KKU Hitachi grantees making up the strong KKU Hitachi academic alumni association.
